Lava Mountain Lodge double Queen Rooms are located in the main lodge. Five lodge rooms have double queen beds and sleep four people. Five alternative rooms have double queen beds and a pullout couch sleeping up to six people. These rooms have Roku TVs from which you may access your accounts such as Netflix, private bathrooms, and separate heating system with ceiling fans. There is ample free parking for you and your back country snowmobiles and ATV’s.

Horseback Riding with Lava Mountain Lodge
Lava Mountain Lodge through Eco Resorts and Heart Six Ranch is able to provide horseback riding on hundreds of acres of Bridger-Teton National Forest with Grand Teton view and Yellowstone National Park. We provide two, four, and six hour horseback rides along with overnight pack trips which travel through the National Forest and National Park taking advantage of camps such as Two Ocean Pass a favorite of Teddy Roosevelt.

Wrangling of the Lava Mountain Lodge Horses
The Lava Mountain Lodge is home to the Wrangling of the Heart Six Ranch herd of horses during the summer months. On most summer day around 7 a.m. and again in the late afternoon the ground will begin to shake and the dust will begin to build as the 100 plus horses of the Heart Six herd stampede their way down the Buffalo Valley Road and off to the 1000 acres encircled by over 7 miles of fence home to the oldest herd in Jackson Hole Wyoming. So grab the family and head to the Lava Mountain Lodge restaurant for craft beer on screened in porch and enjoy the best view of this amazing show.
